Program

The current Law of Civil Procedure was issued by Royal Decree M/1 dated 22.01.1435AH and the Implementing Regulations were issued in the same year by the Minister of Justice Resolution 39933 dated 19.05.1435AH. It should be noted that this law was amended several times. This course studies the latest version of the Law of Civil Procedure and its Implementing Regulations, with a focus on the practical aspects of the law, providing an overview of the judicial organizational structure in the Kingdom and studying the rules and kinds of jurisdiction, whether the subject-matter, territorial or international jurisdiction. Moreover, this course explains the concept and acceptance conditions of court cases and addresses the provisions on the filing of court cases and service provisions and procedures. In addition, we will address the provisions on the presence and absence of litigants and powers of attorney for litigation. Moreover, this course addresses the hearing procedures and order, different kinds and provisions of petitions and pleas, as well the provisions of joinder, intervention and suspension of litigation, as well as the impediments against litigation. Finally, we will address the court judgments and ways of objection thereto.

•      Module 9: Rulings, Judgments & Means to Object to/Challenge the same.
