This course address the explanation of the rules of professional conduct of lawyers issued by the Minister of Justice’s decision No 3453 dated 24/12/1442. We will first discuss the origin, history and development of the legal profession in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and what are the conditions necessary to obtain a license to practice the legal profession in the Kingdom. Then, we present the rules that regulate the relations of lawyers in the judicial environment with clients and colleagues on the one hand, and with judges and court employees on the other hand. Finally, we will discuss the rights and duties of lawyers and ethics of the legal profession, and the rules related to money laundering and their impact on the professional conduct of lawyers, and we also address the impact of violating the rules of professional conduct of lawyers and their assistants.
