In this course, we will study of the personal status law in the Kingdom issued by Royal Decree M/73 dated 6/8/144 AH, and the rules and conditions related to the administration of personal status in the Kingdom. Through this course, we will practically and analytically study the provisions of the new law, and the judicial examples related thereto without deeply addressing the statements and jurisprudence related to personal status, which the law mainly aimed to codify most of them, to maintain the stability of the family as a basic component of Saudi society, frame relations between its members and protect their rights, as well as control the discretionary authority of the judiciary, enhance the stability of judicial decisions, and reduce the difference in provisions.
